Flint’s of Coonawarra have recently purchased the latest in fungicide sprayers; a FMR-Gen 2 –R Series recyclable sprayer. Manufactured in New Zealand, this modern sprayer features the latest technology in retrieving through the canopy spray which normally would be lost.
Appropriately placed wings not only spray the canopy thoroughly, they also catch up to 85% of the spray which passes through the canopy. The retrieved spray then passes through sieves in the bottom of the wing and is returned to the tank.
Not only are there huge savings in chemical, fuel and labour costs, the sprayer is much more environmentally friendly.
